Today I Have Learnt Something About...

Today I  have learnt something about why Lord Rutherford is on the New Zealand $100 Note. Lord Rutherford is the man on the New Zealand $100. Lord Rutherford is on the New Zealand $100 bill because of his win in the Noble Prize-winning physicist. I also learnt from my teacher that he was also races to the dark skin. I also learnt that the bird on the New Zealand $2 coin is a rarest bird name "The Kotutu".

Opportunity to earn money

On Friday 9th my class learnt about "Opportunity to earn money". We found some jobs most people do then we ended up of how much they get every week. We learnt about opportunity to earn money because this week we are having a ASB program which they going to talk about "MONEYYYY". Here is my finsh piece

My name is Brooklyn. I am currently attending Glen Taylor School as the Deputy Head Girl.

I am now switch to Room 13 which will be my final class for the year. I am proud to be
Tongan and I am a year 8.

In my spare time I love to eat, sleep, watch tv and play a lot of sports. I am a very competitive girl who loves challenges. I am very, very lazy but with a positive mind.

What I want to achieve this year is to get to the National Standard in all subjects.

I also want to make the last, best and fun memories at Glen Taylor School.

Rainbowend Trip

Last Week most of the leaders and Yr8 went to Rainbows end. During the day, my first ride everyone ride was the log ride. It was so fun and can't not wait to go back next year with the school.

Why is regular exercise important?

T	Title - What you will be explaining
I	Introduction - Tell your audience what the topic is about and what is to be explained.
I	Information - Explain the elements or steps in a logical sequence
C	Conclusion - Final summarising statement, an evaluation or comment about what you have explained.

Title	Why is regular exercise important?
Introduction	Why IS regular exercise important? Well all I know is that it is part of life. It keeps your body fit and strong. But watch out, don’t go to hard or sweat will come above your eyes.
Information 1st element	The steps of exercising are pretty hard, but if you get it a go it might be that easy. What people do to exercise are running, stretching, games and pretty much stretching. You can warm up your legs by running around your block and also arm or hand stretches for your arm.
Information 2nd element	Exercise is really important because it really helps you get fit and strong. It keeps your body warm before your big run. It helps you get pumped up and once you're on the starting line, you might just hit the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Information 3rd element	People train before their big game. When I mean train I don’t mean the train we go on to town or other suburbs, I mean train as in exercise. Some people think that we train so that we can win the game the next day. But I think that people train so that we CAN get better than we were a week ago or a minute ago. So if you are in a sports club or any club, make sure you train before your game.
Conclusion	So remember exercise daily and don’t go that hard or sweat comes along.

Connecting With Others ..

Connecting with others can be presented in all sorts of ways, but we decided to show yous that connecting with others can also be shown by forgiving the people who have disciplined you in many ways.
