Why Do Groups Make Rules?
WALT:
Why do groups make rules?
SC:
Paragraph one: Include the group and some of the rules
Paragraph two: Why the rules are important.
Paragraph three: What if … what would happen if there weren’t rules
The group that I will be talking about is any sports club.
My favourite sport would be volleyball or rugby because you can hit the ball and in rugby I want to test my strength between people that has more strengths than me. The rules in volleyball include that you can only hit the ball in a flash and try not to let the ball hit the ground on your side of the court. In rugby you have to try to place the ball over the line, across their try line, while the other group try to stop you from placing the ball over the line.
The reason why group needs rules is so that people know what to do and can understand it fairly for other players. It’s really important to have rules, rules are the main thing you need for a group, game, club and much more.
Sometimes rules just go too far and it perhaps may be an accident.
Cheat or Cheating. This word means act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage. For example almost placing the ball down but the ball doesn’t actually touch or go over the line. The ref asks you is that a try; if you say yes, that is CHEATING. Without rules there is not a game or group. YOU HAVE TO HAVE RULES. Without rules you could win EVERY TIME but it will always be unfair.
