Title
Why is regular exercise important?
Introduction
Why IS regular exercise important? Well all I know is that it is part of life. It keeps your body fit and strong. But watch out, don’t go to hard or sweat will come above your eyes.
Information
1st element
The steps of exercising are pretty hard, but if you get it a go it might be that easy. What people do to exercise are running, stretching, games and pretty much stretching. You can warm up your legs by running around your block and also arm or hand stretches for your arm.
Information
2nd element
Exercise is really important because it really helps you get fit and strong. It keeps your body warm before your big run. It helps you get pumped up and once you're on the starting line, you might just hit the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Information
3rd element
People train before their big game. When I mean train I don’t mean the train we go on to town or other suburbs, I mean train as in exercise. Some people think that we train so that we can win the game the next day. But I think that people train so that we CAN get better than we were a week ago or a minute ago. So if you are in a sports club or any club, make sure you train before your game.
Conclusion
So remember exercise daily and don’t go that hard or sweat comes along.

Quick Write 4 HW

“IF I WERE A SUPERHERO...I WOULD BE…”

I will be invisible and fast. Why? When I play hide and seek with my friends I can easily hide by just being invisible and also when playing a sport I can pretend I’m behind them but not. How about fast? I want to be fast so that I can win cross country and also 100m, 200m, 300m, 400m, sprint in Athletics. I would be fast in lape (samoan game) so that I could get home run and also trick them where I went while being fast and invisible.

Famous Person?

For Homework this week our Famous Person was Abraham  Lincoln. Here a google drawing I made for the Famous Person.

T-shirt Art

Last term Miss Siale has given extra work to do during the term and it was ART. Room 12 favourite subject would be art be we draw everywhere and yes when I mean everywhere I mean everywhere. The task that we have been given is to do a t-shirt filled with thing about us, what we loved and what we do for a living. It took us more time than we expected.

My T-shit Art
I love playing sport and wish to become a famous sport player but sport ain't my thang. What I really love to do is to sing or rap and mostly one thing that no one can take away from me. DANCING! I LOVE DANCING 1 day I wish to dance with Matt Steffanina or being part of the royal family and get the gold medal back to NZ. I want to work with famous dancers like Paris Goebel or my one and only, that inspire to me to dance, MATT STEFFANINA.
     Miss Siale T-shirt Art
Miss Siale is a wonderful, beautiful, funny, fob, fun, Tongan, respectful teacher to her wonder 28 beautiful kids from Glen Taylor. Miss Siale is a GREAT teacher to be with. Miss Siale loves art and always misses to work with us when she on relies. But I will always remember one thing she always been doing. ALWAYS PUT HER 28 BLESSINGS BEFORE HER FAMILY. She will try and make the best most fun work to do, just for us before doing others things that are important to her family but no, she chooses to work hard just for us. Room 12 will never begin without our beautiful, inspiring teacher, Miss   Siale.

Cherish T-shirt Art
Cherish is a young, kind, sporty, pretty girl that has a heart of respect. She follows the rules no matter what and always shows integrity in or out of school. She has a loving heart and have always been there for. Cherish is my best friend and if she wasn't in my life right it wouldn't be the same. She also taught me some things while being friends. Cherish has the skills of basketball. Sometimes I ask her if she could teach me some of the skills I don't know. She always tells the truth so she never lies.

I am (poem)

I AM
Brooklyn A
I am .. proud to be whom I am,
I wonder .. if I will still be with my same Teacher
(Miss Siale)until my final year in Glen Taylor.
I see .. me achieving the prize I’ve always wanted,
I want .. to act more like a leader to Glen Taylor.
I hear .. my brothers voice saying goodbye,
I am .. proud to be whom I am

I pretend .. that I am good at sports,
I feel .. lots of emotion when I’m with my family and friends.
I touch .. my friends with happiness and love,
I worry .. if I will still stand on earth tomorrow.
I cry .. when I think about my brother and hearing horrible words about me and the people I love,
I am .. proud to be whom I am.

I understand .. that friends will end and that our
teacher always put us before family,
I say .. things that are true and false.
I dream .. to be with my brother again,
I try .. my best to train until my final game.
I hope .. to be the best of what I can be

I am .. proud to be whom I am

Room 12 Star Signs

Today in Maths my teacher (Miss Siale) has given not just our maths group, but our whole class a task. This term we have been learning statistics since today. It was good because the whole class were here. In Maths she gave us these symbols. Each symbols stand for our Birthday. Each student had to search around through classmates through classmates to find out their birthday and symbol. This lesson teaches us how to talk and to know more about the people that's around us till the end of the year. After that we gathered together as one just in case if we missed anyone. Once we calculate our total, Miss Siale kindly ask us to make a statistics poster. Bar graphs, Pie graphs, Tally charts, and more. I decided to do a tally and bar graph in one. It didn't take me long to do, but it was also fun at the same time. During this progress I had learn and made new friends while doing this Maths Activity.

I'm A Proud Tongan Girl

IMG_0540.JPGMalo e lelei, my name is Brooklyn and I am 11 years of age. I’m a proud Tongan girl and have 7 people in my Family including me. I go to Glen Taylor School and I am House Captain of Taurere (Green), Sports Captain and a Peer Mediator of Glen Taylor School.
In my spare time I love to play sport, listen to music, learning and chatting with my friends. When we play Netball or Basketball I am not good at shooting but I am good at defending. The challenges I had faced was versing the hardest netball team but won and starting to find new friends. My goals for this year is to achieve all my goals and join sports and club that I haven’t before.
What I'm looking forward is to become friends with the year 8 before they leave and to try to get prizes from "Prize Giving". My achievements are joining sports I haven’t tried before and becoming friends with people I never thought to becoming friends with. The one who inspires me are my family. They inspire me to play sport and to LOVE maths.
